24 Years Old, Freelance Model Miss Janice Choong Soo Meen (centre) stole the limelight , beating 9 other finalists to crowned Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2015. Hailed from Selangor, winner Janice captivated and affirmed panel judges from various professional aspects on choosing and nominated her to represent Malaysia to Chinese International Pageant 2016 held in Hong Kong organized by TVB (Hong Kong).
The other 9 finalists are Lim Siok Yee (23 years old), Tebby Tun (20), Yuth Gan (22), Jany Lee (22), Kathryn Gwee (25), Tan Suk Nee (21), Gisele Lee (22), Jane Tan (23) and Winnie Yap (20).
Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant (MACIP) , an annual beauty pageant event organised by Astro, Malaysia leading subscription satellite broadcast television. MACIP 2015, in its 18th year, focuses on three key attributes criteria - Intelligence, Appearance, and Personality.
The Master of Ceremony are MYFM radio announcer Royce Tan and pageant alumni Vivienne Oon, presents the live broadcast of MACIP2015 to audiences at Mega Star Arena , Kuala Lumpur and viewers on Astro Wah Lai Toi (Ch 311 & HD Ch310) and mobile devices via Astro on the Go.
Panel judges includes both TV and radio personality Angel Wong Chui Ling and Jack Lim, former model Soong Ai Ling, international fashion designer Khoon Hooi, founder and CEO of Adonis Investment Holdings, Ann Lee and international top model, Amber Chia.
